Advertising Sales/ Account Manager
edible Seattle is looking for an additional member for our advertising sales team.
The ideal candidate is friendly and outgoing, with an understanding of how the ideas of sustainability fit into our community today. We're looking for a creative problem solver who's detail oriented and thoroughly organized. You should have a strong background in sales: we want to see a minimum of three years experience, with at least one of those years in advertising sales. A car is a necessity, and we're only looking for candidates who live in the greater Seattle metro area.
Job responsibilities: First and foremost, generating new accounts. You'll then continue managing all details of these new accounts, from obtaining signed insertion orders to securing (or helping to build) the creative, to creating a spreadsheet of insertion orders for each issue. According to our print and mailing deadlines, you'll submit copy for the advertisers directory and any names for complimentary issues. It'll be your job to get your clients' artwork to the designer on time and in a format that is compatible with our specs.
Working knowledge of CRM software, Photoshop and Excel preferred. If you meet the minimum requirement in sales experience, you may forward a resume and cover letter via email.
